We Need Your Help

Looking for a positive, tangible and memorable way to make a difference? The Food Bank offers many different volunteer options for individuals and groups to participate in getting food to households in need. Opportunities include packing special Kids' After School Packs, food sorting, labeling, driving deliveries or pickups and office work. We have something for every skill-set and level of physical activity.

Typical volunteer hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. To volunteer please contact us and set up a time for a small orientation. All volunteers are scheduled prior to coming to volunteer. You can contact Niaomi Curtis, Volunteer and Special Events Manager at 269-964-3663.

The third Saturday of each month, from 9 a.m. to Noon is designated Family Matters Day at the Food Bank. It's a time when groups (including families, co-workers, service clubs) who can't make it during the normal 9-to-5 work week, come out to the Food Bank for various volunteer opportunities! All of our volunteer opportunities are on a pre-scheduled basis, so please contact our volunteer coordinator to inquire about setting up your next volunteer opportunity.

On the first Friday of each month, the Food Bank has another after-hours volunteer opportunity. From 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. volunteers will do a variety of projects. Because of the hours of this opportunity, snacks are supplied, courtesy of a sponsor each month. If you are interested in more information about Food Bank Friday or would like to sponsor a month, call Niaomi at 269-964-3663.
