Where There's A Will There's A Way! Would you like to ensure that your generosity will
benefit generations to come? It's easy to make a gift bequest to benefit
the Food Bank through your will, by providing a dollar amount, specific
property, percentage of your estate, or the remainder. Did you know that if you sell appreciated stocks, you can lose up to 28% of your appreciation to taxes? Giving long-term held (one year) stock to the Food Bank provides you with a charitable deduction for the full value of the proceeds that the Food Bank receives. It's a smart way to avoid the capital gains tax when you sell stocks or mutual funds. If you'd like a brochure offering details on gifts of securities, please call, or e-mail us by clicking here! Volunteer Opportunities at the Food BankHow would you like to help label
"shiners," fill orders in the warehouse, or help with mailing bees?
