Director of Operations

The Food Bank of South Central Michigan currently has an opening for a Director of Operations. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in warehouse operations, logistics and department supervision.

The Food Bank of South Central Michigan is a non-profit organization dedicated to distributing food and grocery products, advocating for hunger relief programs and collaborating with others who address basic human needs. Along with our partner agencies over eight counties, we serve 189,300 individuals in need every year. Our team members have a strong heart for service to individuals and communities in need. We’re looking for the candidate who shares our values and heart for service.

As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Operations oversees the Food Bank’s operational and facility related functions as it relates to distribution center logistics, inventory management and building maintenance.

Qualifications

Part-Time/Contract CDL A or B Drivers

The Food Bank is in need of drivers who can work minimal hours or on an as-needed basis during periods of increased distribution such as during the summer months with the Fresh Food Initiative or in the winter months over the holiday season.

Full Time CDL A or B Driver

The Food Bank is in need of full-time truck drivers for product donation pick-ups and deliveries.
